CAUTION: This post is disgusting, seriously!

Ok so I am warning you now this post is absolutely disgusting. Not even kidding. I am actually embarassed that I am posting this, but I needed it for my own records. I also wanted to post this so you can all see what Cody and I deal with on a daily basis. Which is some pretty crazy things, and this happen to be one of them!

When Cody and I moved into our apartment we instantly loved it. We were sold the minute we walked in. Well came to find a few things that we didn't love as much as others and the shower became one of them. Everytime we took a shower the water would fill up all the way to our ankles. Yeah, totally wrong and should never happen to anyone, and we were the suckers that put up with it for a couple months. Don't ask me how, but we did.

We tried to take the plug out a couple of times a little while ago and it seriously wouldn't budge. We were thinking all hope was lost until tonight. Cody was like this wild handy man that ripped that thing right off, with my help too. :) This is the first thing we saw when we looked through the drain....( Oh and before you judge this was not all me. This whole shower problem was there before we even moved into our apartment.)

My little handy man :)

This is what came out of the drain! Did a rat die in there? Probably, wouldn't be surprised if it did. Do you see part of a shoe lace? How that got in there I have no idea, but it was a good thing we pulled it out.

It feels like we installed a whole new drain!

Thank heavens for a working drain and Cody for being so willing to fix it for me!

  1. Kid that is seriously gross! I almost threw up and you know how I like a good de-clogged drain. The problem is that it's how many other people's hair, shoe laces, and gizz! I'm glad Cody was able to handle it. It for sure needed to be done.
