Every year in November my mom takes my sisters and I to Utah for a girls trip for our birthdays. It's probably one of the best birthday gifts and we all look forward to it every year. We go to a lot of places in Utah; pretty much you name it, we go there. We do have specific places we like to go to, but we are willing to go just about anywhere when it comes to shopping. We also have a tradition of going to the Cheese Cake Factory and some of us try to make sure we try something new everytime. When the trip is over we always talk about the funny things that happen to us and laugh until our abs hurt. This year we got a journal so that we could write down everything that happen and then read them next year when we go. These are the things that I will always remember and be thankful that I have such a wonderful family that I love to be with. Thanks for such a good trip Momma we can't wait to go again next year!
Our classic picture we take everytime we go to the Cheese Cake Factory.

It's A......
Earlier in one of my posts I mentioned that my brother and sister-in-law were expecting a baby. Well, we had a family get-together to reveal what they will be having! Yesterday our family and Emily's family went over to Trent and Em's house for a little celebration. For the celebration Em made some cupcakes and in each of these little cupcakes was a certain color of what the gender is. The funny thing about this was that there was only one cupcake that had the color in it and, surprisingly, no one grabbed it the first time! So, we all had to exchange cupcakes. Once we did that, we all got in a circle and at the same time we took a bite. Em's mom got the lucky cupcake with the color and that color just so happen to be BLUE! It's another BOY! This will make 5 boys in a row for my side of the family and the first boy for Em's side of the family. We are so excited and can't wait for the arrival of this little one to join our family. Before we did the celebration, we all guessed what we thought it would be and lets just say everyone was thinking it was a boy except for 3 people. I was one of those 3 and thought for sure it was a girl, but I was wrong. We will get our little girls sometime; I guess we just need a bunch of boys to make for some good missionaries!

Family Pictures
We got family pictures with Cody's side of the family the end of August and they turned out awesome! Probably because my talented sister-in-law Michelle took them :) here is just a few of Cody and I that I wanted to share.
Happy 1 Year to us!
I can't believe that Cody and I have been married a year! I feel like we have been married much longer than that, but at the same time I feel like it was yesterday that we got married. I am so lucky and blessed to have Cody in my life and he fits me perfectly. He is someone that can only deal with my weirdness, he is the only one that can put up with my moodiness, and he is the only person that can love me for me.
I wanted to do something for him this year, but I didn't know what since I didn't know if he would be gone or if I had to work. Instead I decided to get him a card from Wal-Mart which this leads to a funny story.
Me, my sister, and my mom had to get a few things from Wal-Mart the Saturday before so I thought this would be a perfect time to get him a card. Well we were looking through the cards and a lot of them were cute, but they didn't seem to express how I really felt. After awhile of searching my sister pulls out this one card and she was like "oh man you gotta read this". I read it and half way through I started bawling like seriously almost sobbing. I turn to my sister and she is just laughing at me! There we are in the isle both laughing so hard and I'm crying like a baby. As you can see this card was exactly what I was looking for and I was definitely going to be getting this card. I don't know if it was just my "special time" or what, but even if it wasn't I still think I would have cried because Cody is so special to me. Now take a look at the card for yourself.

So it's been awhile....
Well... I am quite behind on the blogging and so much as happened so I don't really know where to start! I guess the easiest way will be to go by the month:
July:
July:
- I graduated from BYU-Idaho with my Associates degree in General studies with a custom cluster in Home and Family Studies. I haven't technically graduated yet, I just walked a semester early.
- I applied for the Esthethics program at Austin Kade.
- We moved back to Shelley! For now we are just with my parents until we figure out what will be happening with Cody's school in Pennsylvania. We both love it and don't miss the late night drives back to Rexburg.
- We added two sweet little boys to my side of the family named Payson and Jace. This makes four boys in a row. I'm nervous for when they get older.....
- And my brother and sister-in-law are expecting their first little one in February! We are excited and happy to see our family growing. (I sense it to be a girl, but that's probably because I want it to be.) :)
- We went to Lagoon with Cody's family and had a blast!
- Cody applied for the PA program in Pennsylvania
- We climbed Table Rock for Mamma Lu's birthday. I thought I was going to die, but we all made it and it was totally worth it!
- Cody was one out of the ten that got chosen for an interview to the school in Pennsylvania! I am so happy and excited for him and can't wait to see if we will be moving back east.
- Cody started working at Idaho Steel and has enjoyed it so far.

Oh that Dam Marathon
So I bet you're all thinking, "Wow Kinzie ran a half marathon good job!" Well if that's what you're thinking I'm sorry to tell you that you are completely wrong. I did not run a half marathon nor do I plan to run one anytime soon. From the comments I heard and the funny walking I saw from my in-laws experience it really made me appreciate my spot as the photographer. So I am really hear to blog about the troopers from the Fowler family that ran the half marathon. Good job guys you finished 13.1 miles!
The crew that ran. (They are secretly scared out of their minds.)
Getting ready to go to the starting line. Good thing Chels used the rest room she didn't want to be "one of those stories".
Cody was a little freaked he won't admitt it out loud, but from this picture thats probably what his shoulders really felt like. Tight as a rubber band!
Michelle gettin' ready to go run her little heart out and I know she is so thrilled about it
I'm pretty sure Chelsea is the only one that is actually excited to run this marathon!
Right before take off
Here comes Chels finishing strong in all tie-dyed she looked legit.
There's Jared!
And there's Michelle! Her first words coming in were "I'm never running again don't care, I hate it, I'll never do it again" Hahah!
I bet you're all wondering where are the pictures of Cody coming in. Well here I have a confession to make. So I'm told that it takes a little over an hour and a half to run this thing if you have about 8 minute miles, so I was thinking I could go home for a little bit and get stuff ready for when everyone came over after. I left exactly when I was told, even a little early, and I missed Cody come in. Yeah, bad wife award for me. I missed him by 7 minutes. Seriously, 7 mintues.... Come to find out this guy was running about 6 minute miles and finished the race in 1 hour and 32 minutes! Good Job Lover! I wanted him to run through again so that I could at least get a picture, but I'm pretty sure that's illegal and it would have messed everyone up so I settled for these pictures instead. Over all Cody got 7th place and took 2nd in his age group, what a stud. :) Chelsea even got a few medals herself she placed 2nd for the women in her age group! Everyone did a great job and represented the Fowler Family well. Maybe next year I will be supporting in the Dam Marathon again!
They look fine now, but I feel sorry for them in the morning.....
